Professional Profile · Tyrone “Ty” Robinson

I turn operational problems into systems people can actually use.

For 13+ years, I’ve worked across operations, people, technology, AI adoption, implementation, and proposal delivery—usually in situations where the problem does not fit neatly inside one function. I diagnose the constraint, design the operating model, implement the system, and stay close enough to the work to see whether people can actually use it.

What I bring

Operator discipline with implementation depth.

My strongest work sits between strategy and execution. I am comfortable with an owner, executive team, frontline staff, an outside technology provider, or an AI-assisted build environment—and I know the implementation is not finished when the tool turns on.

01 · Diagnose

Find the real operating failure.

Separate symptoms from ownership gaps, broken handoffs, missing controls, training problems, or technology constraints.

02 · Design

Turn requirements into a workable system.

Map the process, choose the right platform or build path, make exceptions visible, and define the human decision points.

03 · Implement

Stay close to configuration and QA.

Configure workflows, coordinate vendors, test edge cases, document operating rules, and challenge outputs that look plausible but are wrong.

04 · Adopt

Make the change usable by real people.

Train teams, support managers, refine the workflow, and build enough structure that the operation does not depend on tribal knowledge.

Selected experience

Client work that crossed functional lines.

Opportunities 2 Serve has been the umbrella for much of my career since 2013. The engagements below show the actual operating scope underneath that company name.

The Polish Nail Lounge & Co.

Embedded Operations, HR & Technology Lead

Serve as the day-to-day operating lead across HR, operations, and technology for an approximately 25-person service business. I have hired 10+ team members and lead recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, systems, payroll controls, and operational reporting. I also built TaskStream, an employee operations layer combining Squarespace, Asana workflows, forms, and AI-assisted knowledge support.

Operations & Systems Consultant

Lead accounting-firm modernization across Canopy, Asana, recruiting technology, staff documentation, client communications, website systems, and UCaaS evaluation. I also serve as product owner, systems architect, domain-rule designer, implementation lead, and QA lead for an AI-assisted bank-statement extraction and validation system. During testing, its controls surfaced a $20,600 discrepancy that required investigation before output could pass validation.

Operations, Hiring & Technology Consultant

Supported the company over roughly 2–3 years across hiring, technology, websites, systems, and workflow buildout as the organization scaled. The engagement reflects the kind of long-horizon work I do best: operational structure, technology implementation, and hiring infrastructure evolving together rather than as separate projects.

Proposal Development & RFP Production Consultant

Led proposal-development machinery across 13 confirmed competitive RFP submissions during approximately 13 months of recoverable pursuit history. Work included RFP decomposition, requirements/compliance matrices, public-source research, source/fact governance, narrative development, pricing support, revision management, subcontractor positioning, and final QA. Fairfield University is a confirmed award; other pursuits advanced through finalist, BAFO, contracting, or delivery stages.

Strategy, Operations & Systems Consultant

Applied Blue Ocean Strategy, operating-process redesign, and systems work to support a college-planning business. The client later attributed back-to-back 108% growth to the strategy engagement and publicly credited my ability to find operational cracks and help leadership spend more time on growth. The 108% figure is presented as client-reported, not independently audited.

Operations, HR & Digital Support

Provided website, HR, operational, and systems support for a wellness practice over a multi-year engagement. I supported the organization during a period in which it earned 2024–2025 regional recognition across Massage Therapy, Alternative Medicine, and Mind/Body Programs; those recognitions are organizational awards, not claims that my work caused the awards.

Leadership scope

Management experience predates the consultancy.

My leadership record is not limited to being a founder. I have formal staff supervision, embedded people-management responsibility, contractor leadership, program design, training, and cross-organizational stakeholder coordination.

10+ team members hired directly for The Polish Nail Lounge & Co.

Systems & tools

Business-side implementation, not platform theater.

I do not present myself as a traditional software engineer or enterprise platform administrator. My strength is translating operating requirements into configured systems, controlled AI workflows, implementation plans, documentation, training, and adoption.

Recognition & education

External recognition, grounded in operating work.

Recognition is useful context, but it does not replace project evidence. I treat awards and credentials as supporting proof—not as a substitute for what I have actually built, led, and implemented.

Open to what’s next

Looking for a role where implementation matters.

I am actively exploring full-time and long-term opportunities in AI adoption and enablement, implementation and professional services, operations management, and proposal/RFP management. Remote is preferred, but I am open to hybrid, on-site, travel, and relocation for the right opportunity.
